Should I Use A Vendor From the List the District Gives me?

Maybe?!? Being on a district of SELPA’s approved list carries surprisingly little meaning one way or the other. What it should mean is the the vendor has agreed to work within the districts costs limits, fingerprint requirements, TB testing, IEP attendance, etc. However, keeping these lists current or helpful often falls to the wayside due to immediately pressing issues at the district. I get calls from districts I have never heard of who have me listed as their top provider and have asked for years to be on other district’s list with no luck. It truly just depends.

Below are districts of SELPAs with whom I have worked with and passed their screening requirements within the past three years.
